    Sennheiser 414 PADS (H-19545) CANADA

Thanks for the reply. B&H does ship to Canada, but there are restrictions on which products can be sold to customers outside the USA. Sennheiser is one of those products.

    Sennheiser 414 PADS (H-19545) CANADA

Hi. Does anyone in Canada know where I can acquire a few original packaged sets of these? I saw some for sale on eBay a while ago but now no USA sellers are shipping to Canada anymore. Very frustrating. Thanks for any help.

    Sony MDR-EX700LP

Great thread.     I'm seriously considering these but I have one very important question that hasn't been discussed; cord noise!   I'm going to be using these phones while mobile, and the EP-630's I'm currently using are just about driving me insane with the noise.   Thanks

    Sony NWZ-S636F - help requested

Well the mp3's that come pre-loaded on my 636 have their files tagged with both id3v2 & id3v1, and all of the tag fields show up just fine on the player. So at this point I'm completely lost as to how to get the tags working on this unit. I've even tried tagging a file with no previous tags...

    Sony NWZ-S636F - help requested

I've tried id3v2.3, and still the player won't read them. The mp3's that come loaded with the player all have their tags read properly, but I noticed they all have very peculiar Metadata that I've never seen before - V-CHIP. The value for the data is unreadable (it shows up as just a group of...

    Sony NWZ-S636F - help requested

My mp3 files are tagged with id3v1. If anyone who actually owns one of these NWZ's and has their mp3 tags being read could advise me I'd be grateful. Embedding cover art problem has been solved. Thanks.

    Sony NWZ-S636F - help requested

Hi everyone. I just acquired this dap and after extensive searching (or so I think), I can't find answers to two problems I'm encountering. First, this unit isn't reading my id3 tags (mp3 files). My Cowon D2 and my older Samsung unit have no problems with the same files. Second, how do...

24bit FLAC playback DAP - anyone own / know of one

Wow. I can only imagine there must be loads of members here that work in the electronics industry, and no one can even name one? Shocking. I'll try elsewhere for the info, I suppose.

24bit FLAC playback DAP - anyone own / know of one

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a DAP that can playback 24bit FLAC files up to 96kHz. The only one I can confirm that does play 24bit/48kHz FLAC files is a Cowon A3 (though of course it's defined as a media player), but an A3 is ridiculously expensive and the reviews aren't that great. So...

Headphone resistance - cable or driver?

UPDATE: Well, I managed to pull the driver shell apart (quite easily, infact). I thought at this point I was well on my way, but alas, not so. I noticed each of the stock Grado wires are individually insulated, so obviously there is no contact between them. This is the complete opposite of...

Headphone resistance - cable or driver?

Thanks for the info. I've done some more searching regarding taking these phones apart, and it's obvious that it's going to be a delicate process. These ultra cheap quality phones are assembled with glue, and can't be taken apart (like other phones) with screws (to access the driver).

Headphone resistance - cable or driver?

Hello everyone. I own Grado SR80 phones and I'm considering changing the cables. One thing I don't want to happen though is for the resistance (since they are rated at 32ohm) to increase. So, as per the thread title, is it the drivers or the cables themselves that dictate the resistance...

New to headphones, please help to choose!

Ok well thanks for clearing that up for me. I had a feeling they were made in China, for the price they sell at. I'll probably wait it out and see if I can find a pair second hand that are made in Japan.

New to headphones, please help to choose!

I'm possibly in the market for a pair of V6's. I currently own sr80's but I have one question about V6's being sold right now; are these manufactured in China or Japan? If someone can let me know I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
