While I like the Opus 1 and is just a slight bit warm and just a touch muddled IMO. I'm looking for a real totl dap to buy and then leave it at that

I don't know if they're up to the amount of bass the Hippo's deliver as I've never heard the Hippo's but the Sennheiser IE8's have a healthy amount of bass.
