thanks for the suggestion, nickchen. there isn't any platic interior of the housing since the whole housing is woody. is your idea still can be applied for woody housing?

dear all..   last week I got my woody T20v2 redamped. I pulled out paper layer behind the driver magnet and remove a damping layer behind it (i dont know what the name is, it's just like dried wet tissue).   The effects are the low sector became more tight and impact (i like it..!!)...

thank you for all of your answers.  maybe I will redamping my cans to get the proper damping scheme.   sigh..it's a hard thing, since I don't have any damping material.    Will O2 pads give a lot improvement for the low freq? I just curious, don't want to invest much money for...

not exactly, i compared my woody T20v2 with iQem's T20v2 (with perfect damping scheme). I can say that my woody cans has a lot of potential. but I just haven't got the proper damping scheme for my cans.   But in your opinion, which one is better, T20v2 or T50RP?

I think the woodied one is better. moreover i can say it is a total mod of T20v2. woody housing n using silver gold mundorf cable. IMHO the woody T20v2 has a better detail, staging, speed and a nice midrange. also it has a good extension for the high freq, though still thin but far better...

so it means that Salas Shunt Reg works fine in low current operation?   how about the comparison with sigma11?

Dear all,   can I feed my headphone amp with Shunt Regulator? I affraid the output of shunt regulator will be too big for the amp and can break my amp or cans. :(   How about Shunt regulator compared with sigma11? which one is better?
