    24 vs 32-bit sound

I looked up some of the popular high-end DAC chips on the market to see the noise performance based on their specifications. The Effective Number of Bits (ENOB) of a DAC, or the noise-free bits that a DAC can resolve, can be simply calculated from the dynamic range specification on chip...

I recently moved to Tucson, and I'm also wondering if there are any other head-fiers around.  I live in the central part of town.

Rank the Headphones that You Own.

    I recently got AKG K702s and I'm very happy with my purchase.   1) AKG K702 2) ATH-A700 3) ATH-ES7 - I think these sound better than the A700s, but I can't wear them too long without discomfort 4) Shure E2c 5) Koss KSC75 6) Sony MDR-v6

Audio-Technica Announces Revised ART Monitor Series, New Open Headphones

Hopefully these sound good.  I've enjoyed my A700s so I'll keep an eye out on these headphones.  I'm not really sold on the wings though, so moving to a full headband looks interesting.

Superlux HD668B Review (vs Audio Technica M50 and Superlux HD681F)

The Superlux headphones sound quite interesting to me.  Anyone know how they do with classical music compared to other headphones like AKGs or the AD700?

    the most comfortable headphones?

Audio Technica ATH-AD700s are quite comfortable as well, although they are open.   Edit - What do you dislike about the ATH-M50s? Do they clamp too tightly around your head?
