Do you have a bit perfect setup? Playing with the playback buffer can sometimes introduce artifacts, especially when trying to achieve a direct connection through ASIO.

All you need is a 3.5mm stereo to RCA cable to connect the FiiO M11 to the Schiit Magni 3. Use the Line Out function on the FiiO M11, and then adjust the volume on the Magni 3 to taste during playback.

The headphones need to have separate channels for each ear in order to benefit from the balanced connections on the M11. If your headphones have separate inputs for each ear, likely there is an OEM or third-party cable that will have the 2.5mm balanced or 4.4mm/Pentacon plug for that headphone.

According to the FiiO website, MQA support in 8x mode is available on FiiO Music application for the M11 Pro, and will be available to third-party applications in a future firmware update. For the M11, no support for MQA at this time.

UPDATE: Amazon HD no longer works on my M11. It has to be the app...

After installing Amazon Music from APKPure, do you reboot the M11? Oddly enough, I was able to get Amazon Music HD to playback correctly the first time I installed it on my Galaxy S9 Plus. It could be an issue with the app itself. Perhaps logging out of Amazon Music and then logging back in...

The FiiO Applications app only installs an older version of Amazon Music. I'm currently listening to Ultra HD tracks on Amazon Music using version 16.2.2, with the latest 1.0.7 firmware update for my M11. I had to update the firmware, uninstall Amazon Music and reinstall with APKPure. HTH
