iBasso CF01 (Cable Free), BT MMCX adapter for any MMCX IEM.
Does anyone have experience with sleeping in these? At the moment I use Shure SE215s connected to Fiio UTWS1s, and often fall asleep wearing one or both--the Shures sit very flush and the Fiio adapter is surprisingly unobtrusive. But I'm frustrated by the UTWS1s' cumbersome charging (no case...- utzcertified

ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs
Would anyone have comparative thoughts between the L3 and Shozy 1.4 by any chance?- utzcertified

L3 owners: have you found the dip switches are prone to cause discomfort? Wondering whether they’d be suitable for long listening sessions or maybe sleeping for someone with small-ish ears.- utzcertified

Agreed. Both the Starfields and the Galaxy Buds Plus got a B from Crinacle, and the GBuds+, like the original GBuds, are very highly regarded TWS.- utzcertified

ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs
Thank you, that’s extremely helpful. I’ll avoid the iBasso. And its price on Amazon UK has just in the course of today gone up to £160; the algorithm sensed my presence, I guessed. I might place an order for custom L3 shells in black from Linsoul, although a photo posted above made it look as...- utzcertified

I would be very interested in a comparison with the iBasso IT01 if you have any thoughts. And the Shozy 1.1 if that’s not too much trouble... thank you!- utzcertified

Ah yes! I wonder if there’s a way to do it cleanly and without risk of damaging the earphone.- utzcertified

Is it crazy to pay double for the KXXX over the Starfield purely because (to me) it looks nicer? Can the paint on the Starfields be stripped?- utzcertified

iBasso IT01 in June 2020
Is the iBasso IT01 (not IT01s) still a good buy today at more than its original asking price? I've been looking for IEMs at the < £150 mark to use with Fiio UTWS1 Bluetooth adapters. The UTWS1s are coming with MMCX connectors, and although I could get 2-pin to MMCX adapters, it would be simpler...- utzcertified

Moondrop Starfield Alternatives (Design)
Thanks. As it happens, the BLONs have just the kind of inoffensive (even appealing!) look I have in mind but I don’t know if they’d be an upgrade from the Shure SE215s in sound quality—for all the talk of Chi-Fi overtaking Western brand names in certain respects, I’m not clear on whether the £35...- utzcertified

Moondrop Starfield Alternatives (Design)
Thanks for the tips, both. I hadn't seen the new Moondrop products, very interesting. I have Amazon Prime and I'm based in the UK so there's a fairly big advantage of getting anything from there--the Starfields are just £84 right now, which is really good and returns are easy. I think the JVCs...- utzcertified

Moondrop Starfield Alternatives (Design)
I’m after some IEMs at around the £100/$100 mark, and I’ve seen that the Moondrop Starfields are pretty consistently recommended at this price point. I think I’d prefer the signature of the Starfields over something brighter like the Tin T4s, and the Starfields also seem more comfortable than...- utzcertified

Cambridge Audio Melomania TWS Alternatives
I’d be really grateful for advice on true wireless alternatives to the Cambridge Melomanias. I’d consider myself musical and appreciative of good audio but not an audiophile. I have been using the Melomanias for the past week but I’m going to have to send them back as they have pairing problems...- utzcertified
