Yup mine does the same thing.   What connection do people usually use for their STX card to an external amp?  Headphone Jack or RCA outputs?   I ask because I notice very faint static when their is no music on and when I play videogames a slight buzz in the headphones.  Their is no buzz...

Hi Guys,     So I got a HP laptop with beats audio and when I use my IEMs it is reallly loud.  I have volume 1 notch above nothing.  Would picking up Fiio E10 or another amp/dac help make it so that it is not so loud and enjoyable to listen to?   Or does anybody else have any other ideas...

Thanks for the replies.  I had gone to the audiologist and the Icustoms were mentioned.  I mainly wanted a better fit for studying.  Since I was unable to really find anything about them and nobody posted any experiences I ordered the JH5 .   I'm sure the icustoms would have been fine but...

Thank Bojamijams for the advice.  I totally forgot about the opamps in my STX card.   Do you find that your A5's overheat?  That was the only thing real negative thing that I have heard people talking about that they didn't like.   Thanks again!
