    Musician Audio Pegasus R2R DAC

You can see my pics on first page of this thread. Mine did not come in a plastic bag, but looked fine. I'm not super picky though lol.

    Musician Audio Pegasus R2R DAC

Yeah that's a big stumble for Musician. I haven't had these problems. They did take a month to ship my Musician and I emailed them several times. They responded that they burn in and test each one for a couple of weeks. This could have been them working on the firmware and working out bugs...

Denafrips Sub-Brand or Rip-off? The case of Musician Audio's Pegasus R2R DAC

I got the Musician today. The packaging was adequate, but nothing like the Topping products I've gotten in the past etc, if you care about such things. It's heavy! Connected right up and started playing music. No fuss. Used two USB devices, a Allo Digital USBridge Rasberry Pi streamer...

Denafrips Sub-Brand or Rip-off? The case of Musician Audio's Pegasus R2R DAC

So... I ordered a Musician in July, and they let me know that it would be a while before they ship. They also told me that they run each DAC in for a couple of weeks testing, because they need to ensure the resistors all stay within spec. This made sense to me, and frankly I'd prefer a product...

Shanling M0 seems to be the quality solution.

My Shield Android TV also supports LDAC. Generally if a device has Bluetooth 4.0 and is Android 9 and above will support LDAC. Many budget tablets don't have Android 9.

USB DAC for PC (Win 10) + Bluetooth w/ LDAC transmitter

Pretty much all Android devices using Android 9 or 10 support LDAC out of the box. My Pixel phones all do and my Pixel C (Android 9) does as well.

New: EarStudio HUD100 Hi-Fi USB DAC

Exciting! I love my ES100. But one of the things that I like the best is Radsone's proprietary EQ that is some of the best EQ I have heard anywhere.

    DROP + THX Panda Announcement

LDAC is significantly better than other codecs to my ears, I generally don't hear compression artifacts that I hear with all other codecs.

Well, you DO know that you can turn off ANC, and only use it when you are in a noisy environment? The mark of a well designed product is one that works well in many different scenarios, same as an amp that can drive a wide variety of headphones is generally more desirable than one that only...

    DROP + THX Panda Announcement

You've hit the nail on the head Benny-x, I have a lot of high end phones and a few amps, but the Sony XM3s are my daily driver because if there is even a moderate amount of background noise, it drowns out the higher end aspects of sound, and the Sony's let the subtlety/entirety of the music...

USB DAC for PC (Win 10) + Bluetooth w/ LDAC transmitter

I'm traveling so can't open the USB dongle that came last week. Question: did it come with any driver or did a driver install in Windows 10? How can you tell if its using AptX HD? I think it would need a dedicated driver to use AptX HD in Windows, as I don't think this is built in.

USB DAC for PC (Win 10) + Bluetooth w/ LDAC transmitter

What I really want though is a USB dongle that I can plug into windows and output LDAC. That doesn't exist either as far as I can see.
