Roon vs Amarra vs Audirvana on Mac?
Correct. I wanted a future proof NUC, so I went higher than needed. I have an i7 with 8 GB and RAM and SSD of 64GB for the Core. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N0RL8Q4/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1...- Trueaudio

Roon vs Amarra vs Audirvana on Mac?
I tested all and ended up with Roon. With my setup, it's much better suited for me than Audirvana and Amarra. I went from having Roon core on my QNAP Drive for testing and now I have it on an Intel NUC, sNH-10G Audio Switch, Audioquest cables feeding multiple settings: My Studio: Roon core >...- Trueaudio

MQA files are much smaller than other formats like DSD. I haven’t found MQA on HD tracks. Where I know they have is on Onkyomusic.com and highresaudio.com- Trueaudio

I get no noise/hiss through Tidal or Qobuz. Actually I measured the Signal to Noise ratio and it's pretty accurate to the specs they publish.- Trueaudio

I had the 535's and it worked well, but then I upgraded to 846's, not before testing the Andromeda's and the Audeze. To me ears, the 846's were the nicest!- Trueaudio

I agree, the 535 are the best at their price range, but 846 are superb! You really get the most out of the SR15 with these IEM’s.- Trueaudio

I completely agree with your assessment. I've had the SR15 already for several months and every single flight a take it's a joy! I travel with lots of electronics, including an iFi xDSD and still when listening to music I use only my SR15.- Trueaudio

The best proof are your own ears. Everybody seems to have a different opinion about SQ. For me there’s a noticeable difference, but that’s just me.- Trueaudio

Interesting comparison. I have the iPhone XS Max and the SR15 and I have never thought of comparing them or even using them together.- Trueaudio

You might have then bought the SR15 for the wrong reasons.- Trueaudio

I have both and used them for different reasons. Hard to compare until the SR15 gets MQA support. I’ve had issues with xDSD, so I would not recommend it. When it works sounds great, but it goes mute once in a while and their tech support swears there’s nothing wrong.- Trueaudio

Support for MQA and Tidal Masters will be amazing! I can't wait. Also having Qobuz now it's really cool. I love my SR15!- Trueaudio

I went through the same journey, iPod Classic > FiiO X5 and now I have the Norma SR15. I love it! Once they support MQA it will be even better! I used it on airports, planes, hotels, working out, but not on the car. I stream Tidal through my phone while on the car to listen to stuff I don't...- Trueaudio
