Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
I’m using them with a shanling up5 since i got tired of organizing my music collection on the DX120. I actually like these headphones more than the NAD HP50’s i bought to replace. The HP50’s have a boosted midrange which makes the soundstage more intimate. The Takstars have a more 3D sound in...- trivium911

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
Just got my pair of Pro 82’s. I’m blown away how good they sound, and the build quality has exceeded my expectations. They don’t creak or wobble And they are likely one of the most comfortable closed back pairs I’ve tried, definitely more comfortable than the original takstar V1. They are not...- trivium911

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
That’s disappointing, I did not want to have to rely on having to charge something else. It looks like the frequency response on the qc45s are far different when they are turned off.- trivium911

Yup thanks I did. None of the links work, so I found the product manually and noticed the item number in the link was the same.- trivium911

Takstar Pro 82/GM200 Review, impressions and discussion thread
thanks just bought them. I was actually looking at the qc45s but it looks like they dont sound as great when they are used in passive mode. It appears that it’s more than noise cancelling, so there must be some sort of DSP system. I already have AirPod pros for flights and cutting the lawn...- trivium911

Yeah best to rewire if you want to do that, it all depends on how they are wired. That said, I made my own balanced cables for my hifiman 400i. Though I also think expensive cables are a waste of money, at least for my ears.- trivium911

Thanks just bought them, ended up finding the proper pair in black from the takstar store on aliexpress. I was actually looking at the QC45 but it looks like it was a wonky response until they are turned on. That is disappointing and leads me to believe they are using DSP to create the ideal...- trivium911

Can you guys help me out with picking up a pair of Pro 82's V2? I think I found them but im not sure if its version 1 or 2, they are black but it says this is the new version...- trivium911

I wonder if the clones are boosted bass, I bet that's what it is. I remember stuffing the ear cups with cotton to tame the bass which worked. At any rate, having a hard time finding the Pro 82's- trivium911

Lol I still have the ISK MDH900's I remember you really like them but they never fit me properly ( I have a small head I guess). I always found them bass heavy anyways but I certainly liked how deep and immersive the soundstage was. Im hoping the Pro 82's will have less bass.- trivium911

Yeah you twisted my rubber arm, lol so I'll get pair. Neither link works though, it just goes to the home page. I just hope they are not bass heavy as that can ruin it for me, on the plus side it sounds like they have a pretty big soundstage. I was also looking at the mono price M565C planers...- trivium911

The link doesnt work for some reason. So why does the frequency response look different here than when Amir measured it? https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/takstar-pro-82-review-headphone.24878/- trivium911

Is the Pro-82 separate from v2? How can I identify the difference? I have the Kensington cloud 2 (takstar pro 80), though they sound good I have never really considered them for anything else other than gaming. Is is these here...- trivium911

What would you recommend that is a step up from these? Something under $500? I love the HP50's sound, though sometimes I would like a wider soundstage. They are tonally almost perfect for me, they are just uncomfortable which is why im looking for a replacement. I have the ISK 9000's, I hardly...- trivium911

Recommendation for Harmon Tuned Over Ear/Closed back
The Truthear Zero Blue is an IEM no? Also the MMX300 only comes with a mic it looks like, is that a gaming headset? I've always wanted to hear the 770 Pro, they look really comfortable though the graph makes them look like treble monsters. One thing I really dont care for is a mid bass boat.- trivium911
