Best music player for Android? (Samsung GSII)

I recently switched to Neutron and couldn't be happier. I use the 64 bit if if matters.   Neutron offers some great features on top of the superior sound quality such as a parametric EQ and background hiss reduction (for sensitive earphones).   It is pretty ugly though.

In the market for new IEM's, around $215~

For the Westones, here's my input.   Isolation is pretty standard if you use the foam or single flange tips. However the triple flange can get very good isolation, but can be uncomfortable at times (I trimmed mine down to double flanges to solve the problem).   The cable is the same as...

    Westone 2 or Westone 3's?

I have the Westone 2's. For electronic music they're probably a no-go. Their bass is adequate enough for me, but wouldn't please any bass-heads, that's for sure.   I can't comment on the W3's.

    HTC EVO LTE SQ?

That's a lot of caps. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could comment on the audio quality of the new HTC EVO LTE for Sprint, since I'm trying to decide between that and the Galaxy S3. I realize the S3 has the awesome Wolfson DAC, but I still want an opinion on the EVO.

James444's IEM giveaway thread (competition has ended - see post #344 and #354 for winners!)

Woah, your definitely giving a lot away. Those headphones altogether must retail nearly 1000 dollars! I'm sure I speak for everyone in the Head-Fi community when I say we really appreciate what you are doing here. Best of luck with the competition! I've done something like this before, and it's...

Anyway to paint a custom IEM a different color?

Specifically, I'd like to color the faceplate black (the complete outer shell is blue).   You guys think this is possible.

    HTC Evo Sound Quality

I find the EVO to be quite good tbh. There are only two problems though:   1. Battery life is a little low, but you can easily manage with a few task killer apps and some underclocking lol. A 3rd party battery might not be bad either.   2. There is a tiny bit of hiss, but it's hardly a...

    Audio-Technica CK10 Appreciation Thread

Eh? I've been happy with my CK10's for the past 6 months, and I have even gone on to remold them too. I've merely made this thread to share the love, and let people post their opinions as well.

    Audio-Technica CK10 Appreciation Thread

Upon navigating the Head-Fi forums today, I realized something: There isn't a CK10 Appreciation Thread! Now, some people believe these threads aren't worth the forum space, but I have to give my lovely CK10's some sort of love, don't I? I think this thread will be useful in consolidating...

    New CX500's

Some people say dynamics do burn in, so it's worth it to run some tunes on your CX500. However, I'm a believer of simply listening to your headphones, and monitoring any differences over time (if any).

    Headphone.com - headphone price/shipping costs

Why not check prices with other online stores just to see the street price of the headphone your looking at? Besides, I can't say headphone.com is the absolute best in terms of price...

Am I hearing what I think I'm hearing?

It's easy to misjudge certain instruments and sounds when you have a low bitrate/quality music file. Though I've never heard a huge difference between 192KBPS and 320KBPS, at least this gives you a reason to re-rip!
