power amplifer and adapter to drive the headphones
For Susvara if you want the absolute best amp there is, i would recommend Aries Cerat Genus directly from speaker taps 25W class A. €15K retail.- Thieliste

HiFiMan Susvara
Susvara needs to be driven by speaker amps directly from speaker taps. No headphone amps will come close to a good speaker amp to drive Susvara. Just my 2 cents.- Thieliste

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
No it is a screw just like it happened to a member on this forum, the unit is working perfectly well nonetheless. My dealer told me to bring the unit back to him to open it up and get rid of the screw, he will tell the distributor about this issue.- Thieliste

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Thanks guys, actually my brother is buying my Hugo2 therefore it's a good time for me to upgrade towards TT2. Also since i'm purchasing Hifiman HE-1000se next month, the improvement paired with TT2 will be great. Will get the Mscaler later on when i can afford it.- Thieliste

Hifiman HE-1000 V2 VS Kennerton Odin
Hi guys i would like to have your thoughts on these 2 planar headphones if you were able to compare them. Sound signature, build quality etc... I was at a show in Paris las weekend and was able to listen to most high end headphones out there including the new Focal Clear and my 2 favorite ones...- Thieliste

Best portable headphone amp-DAC
Hey bidn, nice to read a Sonorous X owner. Yes i'm aware the Mojo will have the power to drive a pair of Sonorous X but is the Mojo good enough sound wise for such pricy headphones ? Next month i will audition the Hugo 2 and compare with my Mojo at a show. By the way which do you like best...- Thieliste

monsterzero thanks for your input, the big problem with SR009 is the budget you have to add into an amp to make it sing. With the Sonorous X and Focal Utopia a Chord Hugo 2 could do the job for much less money. One other thing that i didn't mention is that i already own a high end sound system...- Thieliste
