Best headphones for movies and video games? (Preferrably under 400 bucks)
What's up head-fi'ers. So right now i'm looking for a good set of headphones solely for movies. My Grado SR80i's are great for listening to metal/hard rock music but as far as movies go the treble is a little harsh and there's not enough bass. Even with the bass boost turned on the highest...- TheUltimateEye

Upgrade from Fiio E7
Quote: I've decided don't care about the portable route really. I can just use the E7 for that. As far as desktop goes, which one would you prefer...the Magni or the Asgard 2? Btw, thanks for your help.- TheUltimateEye

Good upgrade from Grado SR80i
So i just bought Grado SR80i's and i love them. The treble is slightly harsh but that's ok. I listen to hard rock/metal and love the sound. However i'm already looking to upgrade. Currently using Grado SR80i's. I'm looking for a good amp that has better bass in it. As you can tell by this thread i'm...- TheUltimateEye

HifiMan RE-262 vs. RE400
I might add that i have a Fiio E7 and am currently using Beats IEM's (yes i know but they were a gift) and a cheap pair of over-the-ear sound reducing Sony MDR-NC7's. The Beats just don't sound right to me. Muddy bass, harsh treble, etc. The Sony's are just OK but only with the sound reduction...- TheUltimateEye

HifiMan RE-262 vs. RE400
Since there's no introduction forum on here i figured i'd introduce myself. My name is Jeff and i've been lurking on these forums for a while. I currently on the prowl for IEM's preferrably 150 bucks (U.S.) or under. The RE-262's are 150 bucks and the RE-400's are 100 bucks. I was wondering if...- TheUltimateEye
