ive never owned a headphone amp before , but after reading posts on this site it seems id want one to power my headphones my price range is roughly $150 , and ill be using the amp for a portable mp3 player , any help is greatly appreciated

i used denon headphones for many years and loved them , my only question is do the d2000s need an amplifier? i will be using the headsets mainly for a portable mp3 player

i forgot to mention that the headphones will be used for a portable mp3 player and occassionally a laptop
