One can easily get cheap fibers from eBay or elsewhere; they can be used to transfer the LED's light to the front panel. I use this method extensively in my builds. Much easier than messing with wires etc and can be tweaked to get the brightness you want without having to adjust current.

The Evo is better than the HiFace and way better with a proper supply. There is no hint of the "aggressiveness" that HiFace has on higher frequencies, more detailed etc. etc... 

The "Volume" knob behind the Rockits is NOT an actual volume control... It's a gain control and it's meant to be adjusted ONCE, if at all...   From the manual:       Quote:     also...     Quote:   Hope that helps.
