How much to charge for an old car?

Unfortunately donating cars to charity is a LOT more complicated than it used to be.  You can only deduct $500 without needing lots of other paperwork from the nonprofit, and you can't know at the time of donating how much you'll get.   The used car place I brought it to  Said they'd give me...

    ~$100 IEM: Sunrise SW-Xcape or RE-Zero or ??

Well I read up more on the CC51s and ordered them.  They seem to be a good combo of what I'm looking for.   I'll let you all know what I think of them! My first pair of IEM's, too!

How about the Meelectronics CC51?  The review in the big thread seems to indicate more impactful bass while still being relatively balanced.

    ~$100 IEM: Sunrise SW-Xcape or RE-Zero or ??

Interesting.   Would folks reccommend the RE-ZERO, then? The RE0 seem like they'll have too little bass for me.

    ~$100 IEM: Sunrise SW-Xcape or RE-Zero or ??

I'm looking for an all-around ~100 IEM that has an even sound without being wimply on the base (meaning, probably RE0's would be too 'balanced' for me).   From what I've read it seems like the SW-Xcapes and the RE-Zero's should be at the top of my list.     I was going to get the XCapes...

    Best not-embarassing public headphones?

would you mind posting a pic of you wearing them? I'm curious how the band sticks out off the side of the head, and the size of the cups in relation to face.   Quote:

    Small Circum Aural cans

Thanks everyone for your thoughts!! One question - someone said that the Beyer DT 250's and the Sony MDR-V6's were basically the same? Did they mean shape wise? or sound wise? From what I can gather the Beyer's are around $225, while the Sony's are around $75, seems like a major price...

What do a pair of Stax SR-Lambda's with an SRD-X amp generally go for?

Not really sure what I need - DAC help

SO here's my setup: Macbook Pro --> (18" stereo jack to RCA) --> Marantz 2270 Receiver (vintage solid state amp, before integrated circuits, i.e. more of a tube feel) --> the output is either to a pair of Kef iQ1 bookshelf speakers, or to a headphone jack. Now what I'm curious about is the...

I'll be running the SRD-X out of a recently cleaned Marantz 2270 from the 70s (sounds wonderful). Currently they're running a pair of Kef iQ1's. Man I should NOT just read these boards. They make me spend $300+ without even THINKING about it! grumble.

    The Stax thread (New)

well I won that auction I bid on a whim after hearing all the amazing talk of the Stax on this forum. Didn't expect to win, but hey. I figure I'll try it out and if I'm not amazed then I'll re-sell them. Currently I'm using a vintage pair of AKG K-141s (the silver kind, 4-600 ohms). So...
