i need a good setup for gaming and a bit of video editing and wonted a high quality surround experience i was thinking of the ASUS Xonar D2X because it is capable of running 7.1 audio and the razer Tiamat.   would like to know your guys opinions.

im looking to get a good headset to use with titanium HD as i Play FPS games. i wont to be able to hear where the enemy are around me (Footsteps, reloading, etc....) and would be nice if it was wired not wireless
