I’m trying to mod my Emu Teaks into the detachable version using the bushing adapters, but those springs seem crazy. $150 for a conversion seems a bit much. I don’t suppose anyone is aware of any alternatives

If you do end up getting the R2R 1, please share your thoughts and impressions of it vs the Yggdrasil. As a fellow speaker and headphone user, I'm looking for a DAC that will work well on everything.

Can anyone shed some light on the technical reasons why the balanced outputs of the R2R1 and NFB1 sound more neutral than the single ended ones on the R2R 2 and C2? I like the look of the Audio-gd stuff and their amps on the whole seem to be better than Schiit, so I don't mind the wait and cost...

As someone who is debating between the MMB, BMB, and GMB, these posts are very helpful. One thing I'd like to ask is if people are volume matching between the warmed up GMB and warmed up BMB, and if not, how this changes the landscape? Thanks guys, happy listening.
