    cheap wireless headphone

I had a pair of Motorola S9-HD that I absolutely loved. I'm sure they're a few versions ahead now and should be close to your price range. It looks like they are S11-HD's now. I recommend giving them a try (and purchase from a vendor with a good return policy!)

    Selecting computer speakers

The best money I have ever spent on a budget system was on a pair of Micca MB42x Bookshelf Speakers (with the crossovers, on Amazon) and a Lepai amp. When money allowed, I scrapped the Lepai and used an old Denon amplifier which has kept me happy for a few months now -- with no immediate plans...

Has anybody purchased from Chinese sellers on Ebay?

If you do decide to buy, make sure you pay with PayPal as goods and services. If they turn out to be fake or not as described, you will have to fight a little, but will get your money back. That's up to you if it's worth the risk!

In the market for a pair of headphones, but no place to demo any. So how do I go about this?

I went to my local Best Buy and Guitar Center which have limited amounts of headphones on display. From there I gathered what I liked in a pair of headphones and started comparing models based on people's feedback. After buying ATH-M50s on a whim, they went right back to the store. I ended up...

    Fiio E17k Alpen 2

I'd also like to know the answer to this. Does the E17K work with just the CCK or does it still give the "insufficient power" message by the iPhone. I know the E07K works directly connected, hoping the same for this!

Fulla (by) Schiit - News, photos, thoughts, impressions, etc.

Hey, that's a great idea and should work with many external usb devices, not just DACs. Is there a certain sequence you have to connect it in to get it to play nice?

Is the Fiio E6 the best small sized amp?

I have an E6 and I find it to be a perfect amp to power your cans in an environment where a dedicated setup just doesn't make sense (work, commute, travel). I also have a E07K also and tend to use the E6 more when in public. The E6 is just one of those things that should always be in your...

Asus Xonar U7 DAC/AMP Impressions Thread

I'm curious if anyone with a Mac who has the device has gone into the MIDI settings and raised the bitrate to 96/24?  I'm assuming the virtual surround only works in windows, being that it's software based?

I read this and thought of Head-Fi...

I can see it now, a selling point of a device will be: Has old school 3.5mm jack! It might be time to buy some stock in companies that make DACs and components! Soon it will be hip to walk around with a FiiO rubber banded to the back of your phone.

Question about compatibility between FiiO Products E9 -> E07K

Hey PurpleAngle, I have an E9 and a broken E7. Looking to move into either an E07K or E17K, waiting to find a good deal on one. Just curious before I purchase if it will work with the E9. Thanks!

DT-770 Pro 's Love Them and hate them - Clamping force

I was in the same boat as you with ATH-M50s. Hated them, uncomfortable, couldn't convince myself otherwise. Traded them in for a pair of DT770s and never looked back.  I've had the opposite experience with my DT770s. I have quite a large head (7 5/8 US hat size) and they fit absolutely...

Question about compatibility between FiiO Products E9 -> E07K

Morning! I've been lurking around the forum to determine if the older E9 works with the newer E07K I've come across this post, but I believe it is translated and doesn't give a straight answer...

New user, but not new to the awesome info here.

Hey all, like most I've done tons of research in lines of what my wallet can handle and I'm starting to build quite a collection of 'junk' (per this forms standards!).   I own some Schiit stuff, some Fiio stuff and a collection of older turntables and seem to change my mind about setups more...
