Yep - go into audio settings in the game and there's various settings Inc mic volume (your mic), chat volume (how you hear other people) etc. Just be aware that as standard your mic volume is set to 100 in game which is waaaaaaaaay too high and for most people that'll mean your mic picking...

Give it a little while and I'm sure there'll be other options for earpads and headbands to replace the original ones. I'm also on mixed holes for the headband. Removing the earpads is much much better than the Penrose too, they were a pain to remove.
