I completely agree here.  When I first got into the X3 posts, when it was re-announced, most people stated that the sound quality was the primary selling feature, and that if it had the E17 sound in a DAP it would be a definite buy.  I know that there are a few UI and file handling issues but...

No heat issues with my X3. Room temp consistently. Warm when charging though. And I use the X3 a LOT!

Maybe they ran out cases and started using the shipping box to house them lol. What about using Altoids boxes instead?
