T-PEOS H-200 - new triple hybrid IEM - Impressions thread
Not for the H200, just for all my Westone and MMCX connector IEMs and using the same amps balanced output vs single ended i do find the balanced to sound better. I have also used a range of full sized headphone in balanced vs single ended and have achieved some very dramatic results!- Swimsonny

Sony's DSD-capable PHA-2 portable headphone amp/DAC
NO we want it to work with low ohm headphones. I am not a big fan of portable gear that drives high ohm stuff- Swimsonny

Sony XBA-H1 and XBA-H3 Hybrid Dynamic and BA IEM
Considering they use a dynamic driver that would likely be vented and they have mechanical crossovers, i dont see a lot of companies reshelling it to be honest.- Swimsonny

Sennheiser HD25 Aluminium 25th anniversary edition review
I did not have the chance to do that and i am aware of the effects caused by pads as i have done a lot of pad rolling with my HE-500 but the Alu clearly seemed to be the more technical efficient headphone, more than a pad difference. if it is worth the investment of a new pair, i am not sure...- Swimsonny

Sennheiser HD25 Aluminium 25th anniversary edition review
Thanks Jason! Yes the HD25 Alu is certainly the better sounding, especially in the bass. It is just the more etched out. I can not believe i missed commenting on the right angled jack, it is normally something i get quite niggled by for different reasons. I just guess because i had in mind using...- Swimsonny

Sennheiser HD25 Aluminium 25th anniversary edition review
I think some people want a HD25 Alu vs Amperior comparison? I wrote a little something to compare them for you guys so enjoy. I am a fan of the Sennheiser HD25 but there is no denying that the plastic frame it has can feel flimsy from time to time. A metal version would be great and that is...- Swimsonny

Noisesero with Comply Pads!
I have just received a pair of the O2+ and right off the bat i can tell you the pads are amazing. In all honesty i am not normally a huge fan of on ear headphones other than Sennheiser HD25 series as comfort and seal can be a huge problem. Seal was perfect after a quick headband adjustment and...- Swimsonny
