Thanks Donnyhifi - that's great news for me and terrible news for my wallet! ha ha

Brand New : Tralucent Audio Ref.1 Too & original Ref.1

Has anyone compared the Ref1 to the MH334 custom yet? I tried a demo pair of the MH334 and loved them and I'm really hoping the Ref1 is even more amazing since I'd prefer universal (yes, I tried the TG!334 but I didn't like it as much as, in my opinion, the sound signature is different).

Spoke to Gavin via email he confirmed there will of course be Ref1 demo and pre order, but no stock on hand to buy on the day, so you will still have to wait for your Ref1 even if you order it on the day :( - maybe he will be nice and speed it up for those who are there though :)

    FitEar MH334

Hi Donnyhifi,   How do you find your MH334 when putting in / taking out? I have a friend who has some custom JH16 and he tells me it's a bit of a chore due to deep canal insert but once their in they are really comfy.  I've always been put off by customs, as I find myself taking my...

    FitEar MH334

That is very disappointing news, I had been planning to go to Japan later in the year before I heard the MH334 anyway, and hoped this would be an added perk if I gave up on universals and got the custom fit MH334 while I was there. Jaben Singapore has a ludicrous mark up on FitEar too, I don't...

    FitEar MH334

I think what I was describing as the "crispness" was a combination of the more intimate sound stage and the mid/treble presentation. I would probably say the TG!344 and the MH344 had the same treble extension but I did notice the high mids were a bit smoother and more "palatable" on the TG!344 -...

    FitEar MH334

Has anyone else done a comparison of these against the tg334? I tried a pair of tg334 against the demo version of the MH334 at Jaben Singapore and the MH334 seems significantly better to my ears. Far better bass extension and just an overall higher level of crispness and depth. It also had a...

Good quality universal IEMs for rock music (running out of Note3) - Recommendations?

Hi All,   I'm on the hunt for a good quality set of universal IEMs that is well suited to rock music (fav bands are Muse, Foofighters, RHCP, Linkin Park etc). I used to play in bands as a teenager and grew up on late 80s and early 90s music and concerts so I really enjoy that "kick in the...

    Sony MDR-1R series MK2

I picked up a pair of the MDR-1RBTMK2 a couple of months ago in Hong Kong. Overall I would say it's a decent headphone but if I wouldn't recommend them to people who prominently listen to rock music like myself when using the Bluetooth. I'm not sure if it's the DSP magic going on but somehow it...
