New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
I have a lot of music from ITunes and AAC256 does sound great. I also have a lot of cd's. Don't go any lower than AAC256. Now in saying that don't worry too much if it's high resolution or AAC 256, the important thing for sound quality is how it was originally recorded, mastered or re-mastered...- suzuki

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
The Dragonfly shouldn't need an EQ or bassboost to get the best out of it. EQ should be flat or off. It will sound worse with EQ or bass boost. The Dragon fly is not just a plug n play to get the best out of it. Yeah it'll work but you have to play with your settings, volume and bit rate. When...- suzuki

Hi, As mentioned above max it on the main ITunes page, ie the volume control next to the play/pause rewind button. Then go to the bottom right of your task bar, click on the speaker and then click the mixer to bring up the pc volume controls and put the speaker volume to 60 and the ITunes...- suzuki

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Hi, I have the Dragonfly Red and I am very happy with the sound coming out of this thing. Wasn’t so happy at the start and was leaving it the draw for a while till a few days ago where I made some changes to the settings in ITunes and my laptop and now I cannot stop listing to it. It’s like a...- suzuki

I second the JDS cmoy, great price and great sound. Just give them both time to break in, around 50hrs. The Pk 1 really do need a decent amp. Make sure you use a good LOD if you can. Audiominor make great ones for the ipod.- suzuki

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Have the red and jitterbug hooked up to my laptop win 7 itunes aac 256 driving PK1's and all I can say is wow. The music is so alive and has a verve I didn't think possible. The way voices are produced is awesome and you can hear how singers use their vocals and mouths to enunciate words...- suzuki

Yamaha EPH-100
I gotta disagree with you there. Vocals are great with these, just give em 30 hours run in and they will sound great. Mine after 200 hours still sound great. The amazing thing with these is the bass doesn't interfere with the mids and treble. The passion/rawness in voices is all there...- suzuki

Yamaha EPH-100
These Yamaha’s are really awesome! Sounds like you’re listening to full range speakers. People say the bass is good and it sure is but so is the midrange and treble. I find the treble just about perfect. But it’s the midrange where the magic happens in music and the midrange is...- suzuki

Yuin PK1-PK2 impressions thread
for those who think the pk2 has weak bass, you need to give them at least 80 hours burn in and then they have awesome bass, powerful, tunefull and rythmic, better than pk3 bass. around 80 hours soundstage becomes larger and instuments are wonderfully seperated. pk2 and 1st gen shuffle is a...- suzuki

Yuin PK1-PK2 impressions thread
Hi, As a fan of the Yuins I bought the Pk3 and PK2 as I wanted something on the go and at work. I love the sound of these both and this sparked my interest in the PK1 and OK2 which I have since bought. On first listen the Pk1 sounded dull through my 1st gen shuffle but after around...- suzuki
