The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..
Camping for impressions. And is that a plastic or metal casing? I have to say it looks pretty ugly but for $7 what more can you expect? Would like to hear impressions against the current budget crop such as the Meelec M9.- sushibowl

Xears Thread (formerly TD III)
Hi, It has been a very long time since I'm back in head-fi due to stuttering issues on my PC with headfi (still is happening but not as bad now) and I'm here to offer my opinion on the earphones. Its been quite a long time since i took out my Xears from last year. If Im not wrong...- sushibowl

M9 or PR100/PR200?
The M9 mic works pretty good. And with the current Meelec offer, they are a steal. The only downside is no volume control etc. Its just a single button. The M9s are very fun sounding earphones( Mid-bass hump etc.) .I was just thinking it might be too energetic for listening @ work.- sushibowl

Assistance - Good SQ Mid Priced IEM's with in-line Mic
You can try the Meelec M11P+ as well. Not accurate IEMs, but i find them very layered and engaging, with a good amount of bass. though the soundstage is intimate, a bit small. Its a bright earphone, which should work very nicely with your preferred sound signature. About the amount of bass...- sushibowl

Testing for SPEED in IEM's - please participate in my test! [speed-metal / visual-kei / symphonic-metal / instrumental / electric-guitar shredding]
Tested with the Meelec M9. Expected it to be slaughtered. But actually it turned out quite nicely for a budget earphone. 4.5/11 for speed. The earphones can keep up very well with the speed of the drums.Decay is another issue but i think it does pretty well. I have always been impressed...- sushibowl

IEM's with powerful bass, large soundstage, sparkly treble
Sound is EXTREMELY subjective. Reading Joker's earphone reviews, his preferred sound sig. is analytical, without too much bass, and not being too warm. Clarity and accuracy is the main priority. My preferred sound sig. is slanted towards something more bassy(not as heavy as the...- sushibowl

JVC Air Cushion FX67 vs Meelectronics m9
Quote: Take review ratings with a pinch of salt. READ the reviews. Ratings are very very vague. If you read the reviews, you can pick up on the general sound signature of the earphones, and find something you like.- sushibowl

Can anyone recommend an iem like the re0 but with more bass response?
From what the bros here say ( i haven't heard the RE0s before) you are not going to find something with the clairty the RE0 with more bass without having to fork out much more. I think some EQing might be in order. Or go for other earphones with more bass presence like the NE6/7, Eternas...- sushibowl

Seeking maximum isolation for cheap - suggestions?
Just find the smallest-barreled IEM you can get. Then shove them deep in your ear. The only one i know of is the Meelec M11+ earphones. They are really small and they isolate quite well. Treble is quite good and voice only i dont see much of a problem. Basically what you need to do...- sushibowl

IEM's with powerful bass, large soundstage, sparkly treble
I was about the recommend the M11+ but its soundstage is not very wide Then i saw that you bought it and found it has too little bass (!?!?!?!). Then i was about the recommend the Eternas V1. Then i found that its soundstage isnt big enough. Your top 2 candidates have been...- sushibowl
