Buy "OSSIC X" or not?
Looks like they can add support for games and VR just through engine plug-ins, so any games with the updated engine could make use of it in tandem with the sensors. That'd be pretty awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBTWyycKHi8&feature=em-uploademail I wonder how heavy they are...- SurvivorNVL

Why are flagship headphones so expensive now?
I can tell you for a fact. My modded T50RP MK II's, scale up and perform, to my ears, on par with the HE400i's, 560's and 500's.- SurvivorNVL

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
I got a pair of used HE400i's recently for $180, and I gotta say - they sound a little better than my K7xx's, but largely aren't as fun as I was expecting. Running them out of a Lyr2 + BiFrost Multibit. They're absolutely gorgeous to look at, and no clamp thanks to them already having been...- SurvivorNVL

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
Well, that certainly helps. All I know so far is that they're a step up from the HD650, and K7xx and almost all the way to the HE500 / HE560. They're cheaper than the HE400S today, too, so I plunged and just bought 'em. Now I just gotta get the Schiit Modi 2 Multibit, and Magni 2 Uber. In a...- SurvivorNVL

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
I've got and use K7xx right now, would the HE400i be worth the purchase at $250 new? As a direct upgrade from the K7xx. These cyber deals are insane.- SurvivorNVL

Beyerdynamic Amiron Home (the new T90)
If these can be mid-forward, tight bass, and smoothed highs with a decent soundstage and just enough detail- they'll be winners in my book.- SurvivorNVL

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
So, DT1990 vs HE400i - classical and metal. That's pretty much the only things I listen to now. Also open to other suggestions, preferably open backs!- SurvivorNVL
