What headphones have you heard that have forward highs too? Any to compare with the 660s?- Sundown

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
I think the teaks have more bass than the x00 mahogany. It just seems fuller down low.- Sundown

E-MU Wooden Series Headphones
So far compared to the x00 Mahogany, these seems to have more lush vocals down low. Especially for male vocals it's more throaty and warm. So much better, and something missing in the x00 mh. I think the highs are similar, so it seems the teaks are less fatiguing since that lower end kicks in...- Sundown

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Would I get the same HD600 sound by switching out the drivers from my HD650? I'm looking to buy both drivers for different things instead of buying two headphones entirely and it's cheaper this way.- Sundown

Placed an order and will sell off which ever I don't like compared to the X00 Mahogany. I hope these are similar but with clearer vocals in male voices.- Sundown

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
I wear a 7 1/2 hat IIRC which is snug or a 7 3/8 or 5/8? I forget, which is a bit loose on the later. The top of my head from the weight and pads are bothersome on my noggin. I feel it within 30 minutes to an hour. I simply move it forward or back ward and the pain goes away for 10 seconds and...- Sundown

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
Just took the foam inserts out of my Superlux HD330/HD660 (Beyerdynamic DT990/DT770 pretty much) and put them in the cups of these. The highs aren't as piercing at all!!! So smooth and tame now. Bass is faintly less noticeable but still there. Will play around with different inserts. So far so good.- Sundown

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
Just like the AKG Q701, the crappy headband on both that one and this M1060 will penetrate your skull and make the top of your head to be in annoying "pain". Yeah, try and game with these. Ain't happening for more than an hour. Too heavy as well. Slight head movements will have the paint cans...- Sundown
