Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors Review
Interesting, because the JH13FP Demo I heard sounded surprisingly thin, I don't know if that's is specific to that unit. Technically that 13FP unit is not really better than the IERM Demo along side it IMO.- stefan03

Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors Review
Heard the 335DW Demo before, using IERM w/ TWcu V3 everyday with AK100. 335DW extracted even more details and sounded more forward then IERM. It is one custom monitor with exceptional clarity and excitement to listen to, The tonality is definitely not dead-on flat, but it is within...- stefan03

Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors Review
Quote: I haven't heard the Ortofon so I can't comment on that. The only thing my new UERM remind me of is the full size headphone AKG K702 I used at home. They both provide similar feeling in terms of exceptional level of clarity, transparency, and details. Actually, I think the...- stefan03

Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors Review
Quote: As a user going from JH5 to the Reference Monitor, I agree with your points on JH5. JH5 sounded lively, fun, engaging and occasionally rough but not spot-on balanced. However, I can't complaint much as it's just a USD400 earprice. Many are doing even worse at that price point.- stefan03

IEMs for under £350
How about a set of JH5 custom? They sounded fun yet clear IMO. However, I'm not sure whether it will still be <£350 after a trip to audiologist.- stefan03

NEW ULTIMATE EARS !!! (600/500/350/200)
Logitech Logo on UE Earphones. I can see it coming, but I still can't accept it. Anyway, the spec of 600 is slightly different from SF5. It has a wider frequency response range and is slightly lighter in weight.- stefan03

SE535 vs SM3
Quote: Well, slightly better. Everything seems more well-defined. I've been listening to some David Garrett records, the better bass in JH5 makes the Orchestra behind more "lively". In SE535, the bass is a little bit weak and the Orchestra sounds like...well, recorded materials. I...- stefan03

SE535 vs SM3
Quote: I am using both JH5 and SE535. They both share a balanced, slightly warm and forward sound signature, but 535 has more warmth. However, JH5 has a slightly wider soundstage, a little more details and better bass thanks to its custom shell. What really surprised me is the...- stefan03

Are Shure SE535's No longer top tier / high end IEMs?
Quote: I've got my SE535 for about two weeks now. Strangely, it sounds quite different from the SE530 in my memory, with improved treble and slightly less warmth but the soundstage is more or less the same. However, I've only heard the SE530 for quite a short period of time, so I'm not that...- stefan03
