Looking for best portable headphones under $150?

I listen to Electro-pop, Rock, R&B, Classical sometimes, and Techno. I want a comfortable set of cans (Full size would be prefered) to use straight out of my ipod. I would be using them on the way to school, at home through my laptop, and on transit. I would like best sound quality to take...

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7b Noise Cancelling Headphones?

Lol, I meant I wouldn't ask anymore for MY headphone choice. I already chose the SRH840's , But it will be a few weeks till they arrive. I'm just helping my dad find some good phones for his trips. Im not sure if he likes IEM's, he's in Toronto right now so it's too late for me to ask him...

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7b Noise Cancelling Headphones?

How are these? My dad say's he's interested in some for his freaquent business trips, he listens to some of the same genres I do, (Pop, R&B, Rock, Classical) just alot more classical I guess. Anyway, he would be using them on the plane and I wanted to see what noise cancelling headphones would...

Audio Technica ATH-M50s Studio vs. ATH-ANC7b QuietPoint

Ive had the M50's and they have great sound quality, and great isolation and leak protection, but they busted a little while ago, and Im looking at the ATH-ANC7b's now, so if someone can tell me how they compare, that would be amazing. Im using my ipod buds right now and yeah.. x.x

Can Earbuds or IEM's sound similar or better than full size phones?

Same I guess, Earbuds just simply have the upper hand when it comes to portability. I am looking at the SRH440's and SRH750DJ's right now when it comes to headphones. Either that or an equivilent Audio Technica set of cans.

    Next step up from ATH-M50s?

Not sure, but I do recomend the Shure SRH750 DJ's, as closed cans. I've been hearing they're better than the M50's in everything but bass, but the bass tightens up and settles in with burn-in.

Can Earbuds or IEM's sound similar or better than full size phones?

Ive been looking to see if there are any good earbuds for the ipod touch under $150, are v-moda Earbuds any good? (The vibe i's mainly, or the vibe's) Or can someone tell me of a better under $150 Earbud? Other then that, Im looking at the Shure SRH750 DJ's. Planning for portable use.

My experience with Shure's SRH750DJ - now official impressions thread

They sound really good, the only parts I'm a bit nervous about are the flat headband and the isolation... How is the isolation in general? Not compared to the M50's? Would I be able to use these in a library at an okay volume? What about the noise cancelling? Also, you said you would...

Can Earbuds or IEM's sound similar or better than full size phones?

I was never talking about being banned, I meant the "Sorry about your wallet warning" not a warning on the forum! Sorry for the misunderstanding

    Shure SRH440 Impression

Japanese Pop and Electropop are music genres too, dont be such a retard. People can listen to what they want and those genres are just as good as any others YOU listen to. Probably better. Yes. I went there.

Lol, I now see why everyone warns me like that. Haha. Anyway, I'll look around I guess, is it ok if I post back here with any I see that look interesting, and see what people can tell me about them?

Like.. For Electronic, R&B, and Rock. And any kind of IEM or Earbud that is comparable in those genres to the ATH-M50's
