I did it the other way round. I ordered the Smabat first and if there's something I can't stand about them I'll try 2 of the cheapers ones that you recommended ;D. Thank you!- Sonnycz

Earphones (not plug based) for 90$ ?
ST10 seems very good. Aren't the others you listed below all inferior to them as they are 5x-10x cheaper ??- Sonnycz

Earphones (not plug based) for 90$ ?
Oh that's sounds pretty ideal, of course the cheaper the better haha. I guess that some kind of good old midway of neutral/v-shape signature should do fine. The genre preference is: modern/alternative rock, punk rock, pop rock, pop. The earbuds are gonna be used at home as well as outside.- Sonnycz

Already after 20 hours of burn-in the sound had become enormously clearer. Treble sharpened, the veil disappeared. Now after 50 hours the sound it truly magnificent. The bass quality is comparable to my DT770 which means just top level :D. Beautiful natural mids, there's just the right amount of...- Sonnycz

So they arrived! Out of the box I am unimpressed which I expected. That happened with 50% of my other headphones too :D. Right now the sound is overall muffled, lazy, unresolving. But as I already read 35 pages of this thread I have the best hopes they gain the resolution with a proper burn-in...- Sonnycz

So I just pulled the trigger. After reading through this thread and the reviews I couldn't resist. Upgrading from Takstar Pro 82 which had considerably suppressed mids and too analytical/cold highs. Can't wait!- Sonnycz

AP80 - Hidizs next portable Hi-Res music player

I agree, physically HD50 is absolutely great ! And the case is superb too. I have a long time broken Audio-Technica ATH-ES55 and AKG K450 in my drawer. Should I swap one of those ?! :)- Sonnycz
