Soekris Audiophile Line Dac's 2541, 1541, 1421, 1321, 1101
There are a number of errors here: I2S input, there are no standard for that, and its an input needed only if you don't have anything to fight the jitter there per definition always are in the SPDIF inputs. My DACs all reclock and buffer all inputs, removing jitter completely.... Non Over...- soekris

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
The reason only supporting win10 is software, win10 finally added support for UAC2, while win7 just need a driver.... I would say license a driver, like the one from Thesycon, you need a driver anyway to get ASIO support. Win7 will work just fine, even after Micro$oft discontinue support, just...- soekris

Please link or explain Sign Magnitude. Edit: I read Baldr's thread that was linked and think I grok Sign Magnitude now. Oh and on behalf of America, thank you to the Danish people for Carlsburg. Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Never heard that.... Resistors only really fails if overloaded, which they're not in a typical R-2R network.... I don't have spares in my designs. Chips often have redundant circuit as the manufacturing process have random defects, that way you get more good chips out of a wafer. But not often...- soekris

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
It's actually cheaper to make a discrete R-2R DAC than using those very expensive Analog Device chips, even as I'm sure Schitt get a good discount on them....- soekris
