I was using my sr-60's for a while with my roomies in the room. They didn't care because they had their own music going. One of the reasons I upgraded to closed cans wasn't because of pleasing them, but I wanted to block out the noise they made. dt770's do a much better job at isolating me then...- slydog64

I never noticed the clipping cuz all ive ever had are encoded versions of the cd. I guess thats one benefit of using ripped music.- slydog64

how come californication has such a bad rap? I was listening to one copy of the cd encoded at 128 kbs, then I listened to my flac encoding. The flac has clipping on every song. Is this normal?- slydog64

Got My Vibes Today, Need IEM Advice
are you sure your making a good seal? If your not used to IEM's they may feel very intruding. But you pretty much have to shove them into your ear canal and twist unless they seal right. If you dont have a seal then most of the sounds gets out and not in.- slydog64

My girlfriend calls me everyday when I talk about headphones. I was roller blading on lake shore drive today and I thought i says those $500 custom IEM UE5 I think. I pointed them out and she just rolled her eyes.- slydog64

u could go to guitar center and try to get them to knock down the price on the dt770's. Thats how i got mine for 150+ tax- slydog64
