    Sennheiser HD820

    All good! Fair enough.

    Sennheiser HD820

In my case, Lonesome Tears, it was the entire vocal. But it was ONLY the first playback. I've addressed this before, but I haven't noticed it on several playbacks. I was most likely still acclimating to the headphones, it was the first song I played when I put the headphones on. Jeez, I...

    Sennheiser HD820

Same, which is why I originally mentioned it. But I wanted to correct myself before any arguments over one song spewed out further into this thread. Also, a few years ago I switched professions from working in music studios and producing bands to supervising a QA team at an audiobook company, so...

    Sennheiser HD820

All, I'm tweaking my original post. The nasally vocals on Lonesome Tears only occurred once, most likely due to me using my 64 Audio A18T CIEMs all day before the 820s arrived. Now that I've had several hours of playtime, I no longer notice a nasally vocal on that one song. And again, it was...

    Sennheiser HD820

Yeah, I should say before I give off the wrong impression that after adjusting the headset and listening for a longer period, the nasally vocals on that song are not as present anymore. Not a major con in any way, and was isolated to that one song so far.

    Sennheiser HD820

Just got mine. One of the first 500 produced, which has never happened before. My first major headphone purchase was about 15 years ago when I got the Sennheiser HD600. That was my main headphone and my "TOTL" for many years. For the past few years, I've very much drifted towards IEMs and CIEMs...

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies

To add on to this, here's my A18t and A12t. With the A12t, I went with a wood faceplate and the logos on top. With the A18t, I wanted custom art as well as the logos. I was able to work with Isabel to get this done (again, 64 truly has the best customer service). The art was printed on that...

Can't wait for the reviews to start rolling in. Especially how it compares against the A12t.

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas

That worked like a charm. Thanks, Lookout (and Ken)!

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas

If this is too out of field for this thread, apologies - Does anyone have a Reference 8 cable and has dealt with its stiffness? I only coiled the IEM one time in a case and now the entire cable is all bendy and just won't relax. Very much opposite of the Litz cable. Anyone know how to get this...

    64 Audio A12t/U12t Impressions

Totally! I haven't heard the Fourte so I don't have the knowledge of what the three sound like as a group. It's probably more that the A12t and A18t are both in my wheelhouse in terms of of preferred sound, so the differences between them may only be incremental to most, but to me they're...

    64 Audio A12t/U12t Impressions

To play the other side of Champ's coin, I own A12t and A18t and I've found them highly complementary. I've been using the A18t at work (I work in the audiobook industry) as they have such incredible micro-detailing and basically everything I ever wanted out of a reference IEM (I was a long time...

Ah, makes sense! I was wondering why the BAs in my A18/12ts didn't have the little nub at the end of each driver.

Can you elaborate on the semi-Tia bass drivers? The lows/mid BAs aren't regular BAs?

I was surprised to see Bodgan in the video on the FIR Audio site. I didn't know the 64 Family had other audio-related businesses! Interesting that the Jodi-VAC is the one on sale on 64audio.com. I think I might get myself the FIR Junior version. Thanks for the info!
