If you like to spent something that is cheaper with high quality, I would suggest fuze with an amp. 

I like the fuze better especially for longer hours. The line out quality for the clip+ & fuze are really good. 

In my opinion, the 801 is just too much for portable use. As the T59 is coming in 2012, I would wait for that and see how it goes.

I recently bought the Q701 and it really impressed me. It does not have a lot of bass but with proper amp and source it will make you happy :) 

I would suggest you to try out the obj.2 but you have to diy.

PRO900 is probably your choice

HD 600/650, Q701, D2000, PRO 900, DT880 are best within your budget.
