As the pros explain, physical tuning can only go so far, especially with a headphone. When you design a loudspeaker, the tuned box and the room it's in become part of the system and help to smooth out the response of the driver. With headphones this doesn't happen.

Ever since I found the more precise EQ settings on the AutoEQ github, I've just been using that. I still think there's room for improvement but I haven't had much time in the last few days to listen. Glad you're interested and liked the EQ settings tho, I will hopefully have an updated one here...
