    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

Same with me on the Cascades. Two Nuggets and the XL pads = If they had a better headband, they would be my only closed backs.

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Back to the Monoprice M1570's today. Actually it is A-B day today. M1570's vs HE6se V2's.

Monolith M1570 Over Ear Open Back Balanced Planar Headphones

Just put my M1570's back on this morning. Using the Pro iCAN, I have to drop to low gain. I don't feel that I am missing anything major from using the HE6es V2's. The stage is not as wide, but it has an up and down. And these don't hurt the top of my head. Today is A-B day for these two...

I think your set-up is fine. However, using the SE outputs through a physical EQ (Loki) can up the power and the punch. Or you could get a Lokius and use an XLR cable. I think the amp is pretty good with these, but not great. But the Loki can bump that up. I don't use digital EQ's.

Monolith M1570 Over Ear Open Back Balanced Planar Headphones

Their whole main deal is the HAC system. It is awesome if you have many headphones and several amps. SO much cheaper than complete custom cables. If you just ordered the custom cable, they must have assumed you are already into the "system". They should have asked you if you have a connector...

I bought it used. The amp has been discontinued.

s Did you tell them that it was for the M1570's? That one has to be ordered through the custom page. Mine works perfectly. Also, most of their cables are made for their connectors, which are a separate piece. I bought one connector for each amp and then a different cable type for each headphone.

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

I jumped around with these today on my amps. My system is now wired as: 1) BF2 to XLR switcher to Violectric V220, Monoprice LP and iFi Pro iCAN. 2) BF2 to Schiit Loki to RCA switcher to Violectric V220, Monoprice LP and iFi Pro iCAN. EQ usually causes a raising of the volume. On the XLR...

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

First off, it has lots of juice for my hungry headphones. And I really enjoy what X-bass and 3D bring to the table. I find your amp almost magical with the HE6se V2's, T60 Argons and Monoprice M1570's. It is a very special unit.

    Fostex T60RP

I have the Oval suedes that came with my T60 Argons and I find them VERY comfortable. Like having two little pillows against your head. Add bass boost on the iFi and they are fun for days.

    Is it ever enough?

Partially. I have no urge to upgrade my DAC. I also feel spoiled for choice in my amp selection. However, in my case at least, there is no such thing as end game when it comes to headphones. I am currently at 11 sets of headphones (sold # 12 on Friday). I want to sell at least four more sets...

    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

If your Ultrasones leak out 75 Db's, how loud are you listening? 85 - 90 Db's? That is SCARY loud.

You might want to explore the Beyer T5 Gen 3's. Nice sound and Great isolation.

The iFi Pro iCAN will make them AWESOME. Worth it if you have the right amp.

I liked them on the LP and Vio V220, but they are truly amazing on the Pro iCAN. With the right amp, these are a steal at $599.00. I made more detailed comments on the HE6se V2 thread.
