Really enjoying the HD650 and Lyr with newly acquired Telefunken tubes. Thinking of maybe trying the Amprex PQ's next. Anyone here ever tried them with the HD650?

The Little Dot is only a amp. I used one for over a year with my 650's and I think it pretty good. I still use it now and then but it's not my main amp anymore.

If it meant waiting two weeks and saving me $100 I sure would. It's not like there going to stop making them between now and then:D.

Great information IEMCrazy. I must be one of the lucky ones running toslink from the mother-board on my computer. Every DAC I have or had sounded better using it over USB if it had the option. When I got my Bifrost I didn't even consider the USB model because of this. Note I am using Silflex...

I got the Lry/Bifrost combo yesterday and so far they have sparked some new life into HD650 for me. I was exploring other headphones, but I think for now my urge has been cured for a little while anyway.
