Bump. Anybody?

I was listening to my TG16 cd drive and it doesnt sound that great. With my m40x headphones, it seems like there is a lot of bass, and not that much mids and highs. Its decent bass but not acceptable. Is it the amp? Well it has a Sony cxd1135q with a sanyo lc7881m. My Sega CD also has a sanyo...

I just bought these because of your review! To make sure I also watched SOnicSenceProAudio's comparison between these and the 7506. I was blown away when I heard that the M40x and the source track sounded almost the same (like 99.9% the same). 

Today I decided to make an interesting project consisting of a Monoprice 3.5mm jack splitter, a pair of Phillips SHE3590s and my trusty Sony MDR-7506. I was amazed at this combo. You may say to yourself, "Why would some of the best headphones you can buy and a pair of $15 Phillips earbuds sound...

I see. So what system, judging by the brand, seems to sound decent in the mid size class? The Fusions Sony system? The Altima's, Mazda6's and Malibu's Bose systems? The Camry JBL? The Chrysler 200's Alpine?

I'm quite stumped on what the best mid size car audio system is. Any thoughts? I'm leaning towards the Altima Bose system but I'm not too sure yet.
