    Ultrasone Pro 900 FAIL

Quote: Yeah, I bought a pair of the ultrasone HFI-580 through Amazon, had them for over a year with no issues. Maybe just a stroke of bad luck. But after having the 900's for a while I just wasnt completely satisfied with them.

    Ultrasone Pro 900 FAIL

Quote: Thanks for the response. The Pro2900 are out of my price range. $400 is even pushing it.

    Ultrasone Pro 900 FAIL

Bought the 900's along with the Fiio E07K about a month ago through Amazon. First pair were defective (loose part in the left ear piece which caused it to rattle, anything under 50hz.) Amazon sent out a replacement. Had them for about a few weeks and the right speaker went out. Another defective...

Rattle sound with Ultrasone Pro 900, what do I do?

So from my search, its seems the left speaker with these headphones might have a screw loose or something, because it has a rattle/buzz at low sub frequencies. I just bought these through amazon about a week ago. Idk if I really want to deal with the hassle of returning them. If I attempt to...

Ultrasone Pro 900 + Fiio e7/e9 combo or Fiio e17?

Quote: Ive read here and there that the 900's are fine without an amp, yes. But, many have said how significantly they benefit from an amp and how it brings them to their full potential.    The E11 has popped up numerous times as well in my search. I suppose I'd consider that option as...

Ultrasone Pro 900 + Fiio e7/e9 combo or Fiio e17?

Making a purchase soon. Read plenty of threads, but never found a comparison between the two options, or if there were something better for the 900's. I really dont want to spend anymore than $100-$150 for an amp. Portable is preferred, unless a desktop would be a better option.   Suggestions?

Audio Interface instead of a headphone amp?

Im might be getting the Ultrasone Pro 900's here soon. After reading plenty threads, many suggest an amp. I plan on getting some speaker monitors and a studio mic here in the near future. So instead of buying an amp just for my headphones, would a decent audio interface suffice?

    Upgrading my Ultrasone HFI-580's, Suggestions?

Quote: Yeah, comfort is something im looking for with these next pair of headphones. The 580's werent bad, and I got used to them. But I wear my headphones for long periods of time. So something with some nice pads is preferred.    Any other suggestions?

    Upgrading my Ultrasone HFI-580's, Suggestions?

So I've had my 580's for almost a year now and I loved them. But now I have some extra cash and Im looking to upgrade to something even better with some better comfort as well, and maybe with some better looks. Although, quality, comfort, and sound is more important to me in the end.   Im...
