BONE CONDUCTION IEM Fans thread-Hybrid, Tribrid etc (impressions, suggestions, news)
Bright? I don't get bright at all from the wind but then again I'm saying that as a BQEYZ set. My other BQEYZ are all brighter than the wind. You do need to listen loud. The wind seems like it'd be pretty pointless if you listen at lower volumes. I don't pretend to know what reviewers are...- SciOC

BONE CONDUCTION IEM Fans thread-Hybrid, Tribrid etc (impressions, suggestions, news)
I have awakened from a long headfi slumber to join this thread. Blind bought the BQEYZ Wind a few months ago and feel like there is no going back. Is the Bgvp DMA worth it if I have the wind? I might just have to blind buy them since I absolutely love the Wind and am. trying to keep an eye...- SciOC

DX240 DAP. DAC ES9038PRO - NEW: AMP8MK2S .****** NEW Firmware! 2.01 *******
Searching this thread and around but so far with no success, but on the latest firmware the 3 physical buttons (last, next,play/pause) have stopped working completely (meaning with the screen on or off). I've ensured the settings are all good and cycled them all on and off (using the physical...- SciOC

DX240 DAP. DAC ES9038PRO - NEW: AMP8MK2S .****** NEW Firmware! 2.01 *******
Ok, just getting back in the game here but I'm done with Hiby hardware after all 3 of mine have had major issues. However I still need Hiby music so I can use MSEB. Anyone use Hiby music on here and run that and MSEB without issues?- SciOC

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP
So I give up. I was probably one of the first owners in the US of the R6 Pro, but the damn thing just keeps going down hill. There's so much crackling and popping and interference noise it's ridiculous. The battery is essentially worthless now, I sometimes can't even get consistent power...- SciOC

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Well, I got them for $27 on a lightning deal... But the left earpiece is DOA. Waiting for a replacement but the chifi QC in TWS pairs seems to fit with my preconceived notions of them as being even worse than regular chifi given the increase in things that can go wrong. Seem pretty slick...- SciOC

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Ok. Decided to start watching movies in bed on my phone with wireless IEMs. The dongle I have is less than ideal... Want a cheap, ok, easy, TWS... What's a good starter set, KZ SK10, kz z1 pro? Others? Trying to keep it cheap and basically for this sole purpose... Sick of the dongle.- SciOC

TRI earphone impressions - I4 and I3, Starlight, NEW Starsea
Nah, I've got a day job working for the man, but the fun money is coming from my crypto mining now. I decided on a one to one (4.4mm) cable ratio a while back. So any other cables, original 3.5mm, old 2.5mm, xlrs, etcetera are in original boxes while the 4.4mm cables are all attached to pairs...- SciOC

That's a much better setup than mine, mine is more, "hide how many pairs I have from my wife" organized in a drawer in individual cases.... I hear the mangird xenns up is a really really good pair as well. I should try the tea too, but I feel like next time I pay myself, the xenns up will be...- SciOC

Doesn't surprise me. The CL2 was a great product.... But not something you can make a company out of. There are definitely some names I wouldn't mind seeing go down, because it would mean we get better gear at better prices. @Igcubana has my Rah. Never was a huge fan of their sound. IMR may...- SciOC

Yeah. The i3 made my $900 RHA CL2 more or less obsolete.... The CL2 is much cheaper now but unless you really want a pure planar, I don't know why you'd pick it over the i3 other than fit.- SciOC

RHA CL2 is a very good set for a single 10mm planar, some people don't like the 8k peak, but eq fixes that easy. Most bass slam of any planar I've heard.... Very impressive speed, mids and imaging.- SciOC

I like the EST drivers when they're done well and subdued. The imaging is fantastic without the graininess I hear in lots of BAs. But I also wouldn't mind the planar taking the treble duties (and don't get me started on piezo). I do need a DD subwoofer though. Planar just doesn't slam like...- SciOC
