    Listen Up comes to mind, they have locations in Denver and Boulder. Crescendo Audio in Wheatridge has headphones, but I don't know if they carry any IEMs. Might be a good idea to call ahead.

    Dell Thunderbolt Dock - better than on-board audio

    Does anyone know what DAC is used in the Dell Thunderbolt Docks? (mine is a TB18DC) I've found that it sounds much better than my Precision 7530 laptop. If anyone else is running one of these without a dedicated DAC, I strongly recommend giving it a shot over your onboard DAC.

    Fiio E7 coupled with Ath m50 doesn't produce loud sound?

    Could there be something wrong with your headphones? I only need to turn my volume up <10% of the way on my laptop to get to comfortable listening levels with my ATH-M50. They don't require that much power.

    I'm also thinking of getting the Audio Technica M50's, and I'll primarily be using my iPod Classic. Would it be worth it to use a Fiio (or similarly priced) amp with a LOD cable? Thanks
