I don't doubt you find the sound with that amp to be pleasant, but if the response was measured I'm pretty sure you would find it quite inaccurate from what Senn designers had in mind.

I don't have the numbers but the 650's are less efficient and a more difficult load for an amp. 650 takes a good muscular amp with a low output impedance to sound it's best and most accurate.

Yes less bass and tighter. Tonal balance in the mid and top is similar, maybe slightly brighter, but the 650's present better clarity and detail.

Are you that surprised the whole world doesn't think the Yggy walks on water? Actually most of the recording professionals use much different stuff to monitor the music they create that your listening to. I don't think you'll find a Yggy in 1 in 10,000 recording studios. Many that I'm familiar...

If you need some instruction on the use of a simple SPL or Multimeter there is a plethora of information available on the WWW. Just let Google be your friend. "The gullibility of audiophiles is what astonishes me the most, even after all these years. How is it possible, how did it ever happen...

With that age I would think the first thing you would have learned is not to believe everything you hear, see, or feel. Human perception is the easiest thing in the world to fool. Without measurement and bias controlled blind listening testing your just guessing. "David Copperfield really did...

So has mine, as I already mentioned. I like it very much and see no reason to ever replace it unless it should fail. Most things do sooner or later. "Built like a tank", In some ways yes, in others not exactly. Look at the photos. Well here's the deal, the Emo DC-1 measured quite well, the...

Haven't heard them both, but without doing so I'll say this. I'd bet you a steak dinner that you couldn't hear ANY difference between them in a blind listening test, whether driving phones of speakers.  Only thing is again the Teac does DSD,  the DC-1 doesn't  That holds no importance to me. YMMV

I would think you'd need to start looking at around $2k and up. Even then whether you can make much of any real improvement in SQ is highly debatable. Either the new Benchmark DAC3 HGC $2,195, or the older DAC2 HGC $1,995 are sure to deliver the best State Of The Art sound and also get you DSD...
