Do IEM's sound better than Headphones at same price point - let's say $500?

I agree with GLer. I too believe the IEM tech has peaked out. I really doubt any $4,000/$5,000 etc. or higher up IEM from here on will produce any significant jumps in sound. The differentiation will be on sound signature and tuning.

I hope somebody says that these are END GAME IEM's. At this price point if there is still room for improvement and people are waiting for new IEM in the future to beat the Thumimm's then there is some serious flaw.

It will be interesting to see if Thummim gets toppled and by which IEM in the coming months. Or if it will stay it's ground.

Why did you sell your Sony Z1R. Just wondering. Instead of the Z1R which took it's place?

Is the sound signature more addictive than Elysium and 64A18T?
