Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Because for a built-in DAC (also its DSP etc) to work you need a digital output. 3.5mm headphone jack is unfortunately an analog output, thus it is not possible to incorporate a DAC with it.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Probably because of software compatibility. With iOS, Audeze only needs to make one version of the firmware and they're pretty much guaranteed to work with any device using iOS. On the other hand, Android comes in different modified/customized Android and because of that the compatibility across...

    Audeze SINE Series

So I bought the Sine for portable use that is easier than my CIEM. They sound nice overall except female vocal seems to sound kinda dry. And I thought no problem, EQ will solve it. I'm using foobar on LG G6 with quad DAC with volume at 69, almost at max according to the volume bar. When I...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Oh you're buying the Ultimate one, no wonder it costs 150€. But careful there, it's 150€ for 1m, the 1.2m is 160€. I myself would be satisfied with the Reference one that costs cheaper, but the decision is yours.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

It actually costs 116€ shipped for a 1.2m with 2.5mm balanced, so yeah I think it's worth it. More the so if you're planning to stay with your iSine for a long time. Also you can return it in 15 days if you don't like it. But yeah, buying a cable that is meant for the iSine would save more time...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

IMO I would rather pay 100€ for a really good custom cable that will work at once rather than going thru several cheap cables and thru the problems of returning them (when possible). Lavricables makes custom cables for iSine starting from 109€. Not too bad of a price for a silver cable, I would...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Not sure about cheap cables, I have bought two from Penon, one costed me like $15 and the other is a nice $50 CS819 cable. Both came with grooved connectors and no ear hook, but the connectors didn't hold tight enough in the sockets. Just a bit of pull would remove the connector from the socket...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Hi guys, wanna ask whether Audeze sells the standard 3.5 cable for the iSine or not. My stock cable has had problem since the 1st day I received my iSine 10 and the seller was kind enough to refund some money for the cable only. I've tried buying the Penon cable linked here but the 2 pin...

Anime song lover want to upgrade his gear.

Hmm, here's another thing you have to consider too: how long you'll be there and in case you''ll have to return to your country, would you be able to bring those gears back with you? Fortunately all your choices are pretty easy to resell but I would say take the 009. Used 009s are cheaper in...

    Sennheiser & Head-Fi, Listener Survey

I think I've seen the building in the last pic, but have never gotten as far to the KG. lol my one hour away is one hour by bicycle. Well yeah, thankfully Hanover airport is near Wedemark, 30 minutes or so might suffice for the trip.

    Sennheiser & Head-Fi, Listener Survey

Pretty curious since Sennheiser HQ is just an hour away from my place, it really won't cost anything to go there :P Anyway, submitted.

Effect Audio Boutique IEM Cables Giveaway #2

Have a friend in LINE group who couldn't shut up about Effect Audio cables and I ended giving up and went to try em at Jaben Indonesia last August or so. Staffs were extremely friendly, he let me try all of the available EA cables they had there. We chatted for hours and what I liked about the...

New custom IEM company - Custom Art: discussion, review, and impressions thread

Got my Ei.3 yesterday and loving it already. For 340€, this thing is crazy good, nice bass rumble, mids got body and still has sparkling treble although a bit less bright than my preference and smaller soundstage but it's okay, I'm totally enjoying it. Also the transparent shells amazed me when...

New custom IEM company - Custom Art: discussion, review, and impressions thread

Thx for the short impression. At this point I'm pretty much set on the 330v2. Meanwhile my friend still having dilemma between Ei.3 and FIBAE 1. One thing he is unsure about the FIBAE 1 is whether it has good bass or not. If it turned out to be something like Etymotic ER4, he might not like it lol.
