"Single Ended Push Pull" amp harmonics
Hello Hi-Folks, Please some guru clarify me a thing. I had the idea that a Single Ended amp has a good amount of even-order harmonics, wich sounds pleasant to our ears, and on the other side, a Push Pull amp cancel them. But, what about "Single Ended Push Pull" amp? I recently purchased a LD...- Royan

Stereo Equalizer
Hi, I want to color the sound for my headphones, in order to experience different "flavors" depending of music genres and/or recording. I listen to several genres, from classical to heavy metal. Do you know if a Stereo Equalizer can do this work? I mean one like this...- Royan

The Sad State Of The So Called Audiophile DAP Market
I haven't. It's a thought, not a statement, based on your own impressions above. Of course if you can find a DAP with audiophile sound and good UI it will be a nice-to-have unit, but it must cost some bucks to achieve that goal, wich you can save for a good smartphone.- Royan

The Sad State Of The So Called Audiophile DAP Market
I think it's better to get a good smartphone with a decent DAC, or use an Android-compatible usb DAC/AMP via OTG cable, than spending big money in a pseudo-audiophile DAP with crappy software/hardware match.- Royan

Audinst-HUD-MX2 DAC/Amp
I also use this MX2 in Chile where it is 220V / 50Hz, no problem with that. The unit gets warm when plugged to AC, but not too hot. I use it to drive my DT880 250 ohm, with the gain jumper on original position. The combo works fine, clear and crisp sound but too bright for me. I'm ordering a...- Royan

Looking for a warm DAC/AMP combo for my DT880s
Thanks for your replies. Now, the shipping cost for the LD to Chile is $76... that is $265 total, wich makes me think in the Darkvoice 336SE for $300 total, only $35 more. Wich you recommend?- Royan

Looking for a warm DAC/AMP combo for my DT880s
Hi, I'm new in this forum and in the Hi-Fi world. I just bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT880 (250ohm) a few months ago. I found they were the best overall-sounding headphones in their price range. I love their clear, cristal sound... have no complaint about their sound quality. However...- Royan
