Beyerdynamic Byron (wired) vs Final Audio E2000/E3000
I came across these two earphones which are similarly priced. ~$50. Both have excellent reviews and should be reliable. I want to get a budget portable earphone that has good midrange and good detail. Among the headphones i have, i like AKG K550 which is very spacious (?) and good separation...- rocky2

Recommendations for exciting open back headphones on a budget

My car doesn't have iDrive, which means there is no USB to connect to. Even though phone calls can be attended & controlled with steering controls thr blue tooth , i cant play music thr blue tooth. I am happy with the sound from car's CD player. But playing from phone through auxiliary...- rocky2

Dedicated headphone amp vs. Stereo receiver.
my dt990 250 ohm is bring driven by a HK avr 130...at -3 db , it is loud enough....and so clear...it works well with sennheiser hd205 also..listening to flac files really brings out the receivers clairty..- rocky2

i had an headphone amplifier..But recently i bought a Harman kardon AVR 130 receiver..It has headphobe jack and i connected my 8$ Sony RK g129 to my computr and the reciever...What a great sound!! i bought it for 75$ used. I am using it like a desktop amp, but it works fine. Dt990 and hd205...- rocky2

thanks guys...i didnt go thr the JVC r-x310 item...i bought a harman kardon avr 130 from craigslist for 75 bucks.amazing sound even thr my Koss KPH/6 ..i have a mini to RCA connector bought for my x-head amp...i used it to connect from computer to receiver..Is that what Lenni meant by IC's... -

Hi I need to connect my Infinity primus p162 speakers to computer. I heard it does not work without a receiver/amplifier. Since it needs to be given power. I have an x-head headphone amp , but it wont work with speaker set up,right? Can anyone suggest a budget amplifier/receiver...- rocky2
