Headphones that don't hurt my medically altered ears?

Like others have already suggested, I think you need to check out the Sony MDR-XB series. Minimum XB500, but I think the XB1000 would be better. Check them out in this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/533810/sony-mdr-xb1000-new-omg

    Sansaclip issues

The stuff you are having problems with is from iTunes? There is a known issue, try removing the album art with mp3tag and see if that clears it. Do you have any CDs you can rip to mp3s? Try loading the mp3s and see if they cause any problems.

Where is that music coming from?!?!?!

18 tabs in one window, 28 in another. That's maybe a little above average, but not by much. I'll sometimes have three or four browser windows open.   Quote:   Ads? There's adverts on the Internet?

    Help for buyinga good headphone

Quote: You are missing the fact that the OP is in India and you are refering to an item on ebay.com with free delivery to a US address. The same item to India is going to incur $45 shipping plus any customs and clearance charges, final cost is going to be nearer $200.

Cannot find a good balance between portability and quality

Quote: I was going to suggest the V-Moda M-80, but if you feel they don't have enough bass maybe the V-Moda Crossfade LP2 would be an option. These are my everyday out-and-about headphones and I really love them. They are not too big to wear outside like a lot of over-ear headphones and...

BBC TV - Bang Goes the Theory - Is Life Too Loud?

The latest edition of the BBC science series, Bang Goes the Theory was all about the ear and featured a lot of headphones including a (I believe) Stax Lambda and a young girl wearing the cheapest, crappiest pair of fake Beats that she'll never live down when her friends see it.   If you are...

So what headphones do you guys use for movie soundtracks?

Quote: What fusionramjet gave you was a link to a sound library, they supply, as he has already said, themed music that is often used for low budget films and adverts.   Original soundtrack recordings is what you are looking for, try Soundtrack.net or just do a search on Amazon for...

    Question on Ethics

Quote: Not sure about in the rest of the world, but in the UK returns to large stores (either high street or online) are often sold on to auction houses, it is then bought up by smaller companies or individuals and often ends up on eBay or at car boot sales. I have a friend who makes a...

Please help me find the perfect headphones for my odd requirements...(thanks)

Well, if you considered the B&W P5, I would suggest the V-Moda M80, they are around £90-£100 cheaper, will actually stay on your head and not come apart (there is a problem with the leather headband on the B&W P5). Head-Fi reviews here.   As you mention the Tube, can I assume you are in...

Should I buy MP3s from iTunes or CD Baby?

Well, the price for the same album on Amazon.co.uk is around £30 UK/$45 US, (although it is currently out of stock) and I've seen it on another site for around $23 + shipping, so I think CD Baby's price is very reasonable. Hopefully you'll find some other CDs.

    $200-250 Bass Monster Headphones

Either the V-Moda Crossfade LP2 or the Sony XB500. I have the LP2 and love the bass on them. Looks like they are out of stock at the V-Moda website, so you can't take advantage of the 60 day test drive, but Amazon.com have them in stock.

Should I buy MP3s from iTunes or CD Baby?

Personally, I'd go for the physical copy from CD Baby, even with shipping it is only around $23 and I think it will get to you a lot sooner than 40 days as they ship by air. I've used CD Baby for physical CDs in the past and they are good. I would always take the physical CD over a download if...
