Late reply, but anyways: I have the E10K and the NFB-11. In my opinion, both sound great. That being said, the NFB-11 provides more power for headphones that are harder to drive. In terms of sound quality both sound sufficient, but I would still give the advantage to the NFB-11. Considering the...- rlXX

I agree with you. Having tried some 'pad rolling' in the past, it always seemed like I liked each headphone with their respective stock pads the most. However, tube rolling on the other hand... :P I definitely had more success with that.- rlXX

Do you have experience with a soldering iron? From what I have heard, doing the detachable cable mod is rather easy with little soldering experience. Might save you some bucks and some waiting time. Cheers- rlXX

STAX SR-009S new flagship electrostatic earspeakers released (with impressions)
Thank you for your detailed comparison. I am currently using the 007 and I am wondering whether you prefer the 007 over the 009 for certain genres or just low-fi material in general? Cheers- rlXX

Violectric HPA V281 - Vorsprung durch Balanced (September 2023 Update: Limited Reissue Edition up for preorder!)
Are you using the SDR mod with the HD 800? Curious, because the person I bought my HD 800 from told me, it is not needed with the V281. Interested in your opinion.- rlXX

Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread
I feel like I haven't appreciated my Audeze LCD-2 (Bamboo/Alcantara) enough on head-fi. That being said, Air - La femme d'argent still is by far my favorite on the LCD-2 compared to all my other cans and speakers. :)- rlXX

Audio-GD NFB-11.32 & NFB-11 (2014) (Delivery & Impression Thread)!!!
Some Audio GD products seem to measure rather poorly recently (haven't seen measurements of the NFB-11 though!). However I've owned my NFB-11.28 unit for close to two years now and have since then never felt the need to upgrade.- rlXX

Also, just wondering: I am looking to roll some tubes with my Bottlehead Crack. Is there any discussion on head-fi with recommendations to begin with? I am currently rocking the russian combination but would love to switch it up. Thanks- rlXX

I only added the Speedball to my build (so far :P ). However, having listened to it before and after the speedball upgrade, I would definitely recommend upgrading your crack. It definitely adds to the sound. Also, I loved assembling the crack and by adding the Speedball, I had further tasks to...- rlXX
