I can say without a doubt, the 3DD have the best bass extension I've ever heard in an iem.

the stock tips are absolutely garbaged, I've ordered the comply for Ortofons, hopefully they will fit the 3DD.

Update:   So the bass in this thing is beyond ridiculous. It's great for me because I love bass, but I think it will be overwhelming for those who are not so fond of the low end.   But I have to echo what was stated previously, the cable connection couldn't be any worse. It detaches way too...

I cannot get it to fit properly so I think it's unfair for me to comment on the sound as I don't believe I have any sort of a seal.    What I can say though, these are extremely power hungry and insensitive. On my AK120 with my JH16, I cannot exceed 40 in volume but with 3DD, I need around...

  definitely. that said, I have no problem with Stephen, he's more than helpful and at the very least, replies within VERY reasonable timeframe (couple of hours). It's really unfortunate how UM deals with this. I have no problem with waiting if I was told I have to wait from the get go.

  Thanks for the reply. I really noticed the difference with using AP1 vs going from computer to DAC directly via USB. It would suck if I get the DA8 but have to ditch the clarity I was experiencing with the AP1.   If you have a sec, it'd be greatly appreciated if you can test whether or not...
