In-ear adventures ... The more info, the harder it gets :) Advice, anyone?
"Welcome to Head-Fi Xstream! Sorry about your wallet." You've made some fine choices already in the IEM market. Yes, I understand there are lots of choices in the market now for IEM phones. However, you will never know which one is perfect for you until YOU actually listen to them. ...- raynman

The All New Earsonics SM3 Appreciation, Discussion and Review Thread!
Quote: I just received the Sensorcoms this week and IMHO they are far better than the stock double flange silicon tips Earsonics supplies. They really open the high end and are super comfortable and easy to seal. I'm really enjoying listening to the combo with a iBasso D10. HIGHLY...- raynman

The All New Earsonics SM3 Appreciation, Discussion and Review Thread!
After 10 years of Etymotic ownership, I impulse ordered these (should have never peeked back here) and just received them today. First impressions: The sound is exactly what I was hoping for. Excellent soundstage, impact, just enough detail, but most importantly, they make the music I...- raynman

Excellent Customer Service
Just want to drop a quick thread over here and post my experience with Head-Direct. I ordered some PK3 headphones back in the beginning of October and they were promptly shipped the next business day. However, for some unknown reason, the USPS lost my package and I felt as though I got...- raynman

iPod Touch or Zune HD?
Get the Zune if you: 1) Love eye candy interfaces - the UI on the zune IMHO trumps the Touch experience and any other PMP interface. It makes me go "wow". 2) Love the Zune PC Client - you can ONLY use the Zune PC client to manage your music, videos, etc. - test it out before hand and see for...- raynman

ZuneHD...so does it sound good?
Zune HD’s UI: the full tour This is probably one of the best zune video UI demonstrations I have seen on the net. I can't wait til my 32GB pre-order from Dell arrives tomorrow to listen to KEXP on HD!- raynman

The Zune is Dead, Long Live the Zune HD
Quote: So my question to you all is, what good is an "hd" player that doesnt play hd videos? Because this new zune cant play HD, it only outs to HD, and possibly records it later if new equipment comes out for it. The screen cannot support hd video. I believe it's because the size of...- raynman

iPod Killers... Please suggest/review
OT: Quote: OK, raynman, here's the deal: that 'snarky' comment you cite of mine is a * JOKE *... the latter part, anyway... that's why I put the smiley there. Eh, of course I understood it was a joke. While it may have been a "funny" joke to you, it came across to me and I am sure...- raynman

iPod Killers... Please suggest/review
Always intresting to read these kind of debates Just my thoughts: To the original poster - No matter how prepared you are in paper and all the research you do over the net, actually having the chance to play with and use the device on a daily basis is the only way to decide if the player...- raynman

Looks like the new Sony NW-HD1 player does support mp3...
Would this be a good buy for someone who owns tons of MD's? I have a cuz who has everything Sony (even Sony stock ) and he is really excited to get this. This product actually blows my mind...the looks and features wise seem outstanding...well except for the part of the ATRAC conversion...- raynman

if the iPod is $100 cheaper would you pick it over the iHP-120?
Blah, another slugfest I'd just like to counterpoint this statement of "When I say 'easy', I mean no manual required. Ever." Please do yourself a favor and do a search on ipodlounge or better yet stay in touch with the forums there and tell me how many new users are asking for help...- raynman

Colleges... doing a week tour with my dad
Another plug for your local UW. I'm currently a sophmore and a pre-computer science undergrad. UW actually has a top 5 in computer science/ee program and sometimes besting even the top engineering schools in some published rankings. The new Paul Allen building is awesome to say the least and...- raynman
